Why rain alone doesn't ruin clean windows
Pure rainwater dries clear on glass. The spots people notice after a storm usually come from the dirt that was already on the window, or from dust the rain picks up on its way down.
When your windows have just been cleaned, there's very little residue on the glass for the water to leave behind, so a passing shower tends to run off and dry without much trace.
When rain can leave spots on your windows
Wind. Northern Colorado wind can blow dust and dirt onto wet glass, and that's what dries into spots. This is the most common reason clean windows look messy after a storm.
Splashes from the ground. Heavy rain can splash soil and mulch onto ground-floor windows.

Photos help us see which panes were affected, so send a few if you can. We will find a time to come out and touch up those panes at no cost to you.

We watch the weather closely, and we will reach out to reschedule your appointment if the weather will keep us from working safely.
